Mixed-Media Animation

ShiftClick and Z•Studio collaborated on a mixed-media animation sequence for the documentary “Early Childhood: Years of Promise” produced by Rebecca Abbott of RAbbott Media for Connecticut Public Television.
Traditional paintings, clay sculptures, paper cutouts, found objects, and Adobe AfterEffects came together to produce a 1 minute and 20 second journey through the imagination of a young child. Over 90 images layers are used to create an elaborate multiplane simulation in the closing sequence.
